Ella Langley has invested in a peaceful lakefront home in her home state of Alabama. Fresh off scoring her second No. 1 song, with “Weren’t For The Wind,” the rising country star revealed she purchased a house in Alabama that will serve as a safe space when she needs a break from her hectic life in Tennessee.

She told Audacy’s Katie Neal that the property has a horse barn, sits right on a lake and is located close to her parents’ home.

“I think I’ll always have to live in Tennessee to some extent in my life, but being from Alabama, it’s so close. It’s under four hours to get there,” she shared.

No matter how long Langley resides in Tennessee, Alabama will always hold a special place in her heart. Plus, it offers the perfect setting for her to clear her head and let creativity flow into her songwriting.

“It just brings me back to who I am at the root of me every time I go back there. And when it comes to writing songs and being in that state of mind, I think it’s important to have a place like that,” she pointed out.

Luckily, thanks to the help from her business management team, Langley says that the process to buying her first house didn’t add too much stress onto her already full plate.

“I honestly been having a blast. I have great business management. They just get all the phone calls, yes or no, this is what I want to do, and they figure out all the little logistics, so very thankful for them,” she said.

The songstress revealed that buying this home is one of the only big purchases she’s made since gaining success in her career. After snagging her first No. 1 with “You Look Like You Love Me” featuring Riley Green in December of 2024, instead of celebrating with a material item, she chose to take some time off and put a good chunk of her earnings back into her career.

“I’m still in the phase of I’m trying to get a bus,” she revealed. “I want a sixth band member really bad on stage right now, so that’s how I treat myself these days.”

Fulfilling a Longtime Promise

Thanks to her years of hard work and dedication, Ella Langley was also recently able to fulfil a promise made to her younger sister, Katie. She and Katie, alongside a few friends from back home, spent their fourth of July holiday vacationing in Hawaii, a destination Langley vowed to visit once her sibling graduated high school.

“My little sister, she’s eight years younger than me…I don’t know why. I was just like, ‘you know what, Katie, if I make it in music at the time you graduate, enough where I can afford for us to go, I’ll take you to Hawaii.’ She literally painted a Hawaiian flower in her parking spot, so she has taken it very seriously,” Langley explained.

This promise always stuck in the back of the award-winning singer/songwriter’s mind from the moment she started playing small gigs right out of high school.

“It’s just cool to see in eight years what has happened from literally walking into bars with a tip jar and a guitar and actually getting to the point where’re like, ‘ surprise for your graduation. I’m taking you to Hawaii. It’s actually happening.’”

She added, “It’s cool to see what happens, what can happen.”

With even more big goals ahead, Ella Langley continues to achieve her dreams one milestone at a time.
