Country Music Fans Think Megan Moroney Named Dropped Morgan Wallen During Prank Call To One Of Her Best Friends

Fans seem to never get enough in terms of speculating on Megan Moroney’s dating life, and recently, rumors have been going around that she might have something going on with San Francisco 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa.

She recently confirmed that she was single and not seeing anybody, but regardless of who Megan dates next, it sounds like she has a really healthy perspective on what she deserves and wants in a relationship. But that wasn’t always the case, as she detailed in a recent episode the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, where she recalled some of her dating experiences and guys she has been with in the past.

While she says she has had an evolution in terms of her dating approach, Megan didn’t always pick winners, and of course, she was rumored to have been with Morgan Wallen around the time she put out her first hit “Tennessee Orange.”

Later on a Call Her Daddy episode, she confirmed they had some sort of fling, and fans think Megan might have name dropped Morgan during a recent prank call to her friend Becca during an interview with Elle Magazine.

Megan called Becca to tell her she was inviting one of her ex’s to a Red Rocks show, though the bleeped out the name of the guy:

“I need you to talk me out of this because I feel like it’s really bad idea, but I think I’m gonna invite ___ to Red Rocks and he’s flying there tomorrow.”

Becca seemed shook to hear that name, going on to nicely explain why she “never hated” him but clearly didn’t really like him:

“No way. I don’t know, that’s such a tough situation. I never, like, hated him, I just always felt like, when you guys were together… especially in the beginning, he was super nice…”

Megan also told Becca that the guy she invited said if he comes to the show, he’s going to propose in the next year, and Becca had a hilarious response:

“What? That would be an insane twist.”

She played it cool, but when Megan finally told her it was a prank call, Becca said her blood pressure was up, admitting it would’ve been “really awkward” if that was all true because the guy “hates her guts”:

“Holy s***. I’m gonna die… you actually just got my blood pressure up so much. I was like, ‘He definitely hates my guts. This is gonna be really awkward.’”

Megan laughed as she explained she knew Becca secretly wasn’t all that thrilled:

“In the most polite way, you were like, bad with him”

You can kind of read Megan’s lips, and it does look like she says “Morgan Wallen” to me, but you can be the judge of that yourself:

Pretty much everyone in the comments was convinced Megan was talking about Morgan too:

“She definitely said Morgan Wallen.”

“She’s like I feared this moment, anyone but Morgan Wallen.”

“The way she just let her go on and on about how she felt about him… umm I mean he was super nice at 1st.”

Becca even responded:

“Still recovering from the anxiety attack.”

Megan also pranked her creative director by telling her she wanted to redo all of her album work, and she almost had her in tears too…
