Erika Kirk, wife of activist Charlie Kirk, speaks out after her husband’s assassination, vowing not to let his legacy be forgotten.

Who is Erika Kirk, wife of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk?

“I promise to never let your legacy die. I promise to make Turning Point USA (TPUSA) the biggest movement in this country,” Erika Kirk, wife of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, said on September 12.

This is the first time Erika has spoken since her husband was assassinated while speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University in Utah on September 10. Kirk co-founded TPUSA, a student organization that promotes conservative ideas on liberal-leaning campuses, in 2012, when he was 18. TPUSA now has chapters at more than 850 universities in the US.

Erika said plans to hold Charlie Kirk rallies on college campuses are still in place, and there will be more rallies in the coming years. Americafest, TPUSA’s annual conference, will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, in December.

“In a world filled with chaos, suspicion and uncertainty, my husband’s voice will still be there and will ring louder and clearer than ever,” Erika said.

Erika said that while he was alive, her husband always said that when the time came to leave, he wanted to be remembered for his courage and faith.

“He loved life, he loved America, he loved nature, the things that brought him closer to God,” Erika said, adding that Charlie Kirk loved his children more than anyone and loved his wife with all his heart.

Erika thanked President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance and his wife for their friendship and support following the assassination. Erika called Vance a “best friend” of Charlie Kirk and thanked him for sending Air Force Two to bring Charlie Kirk’s casket home.

She told President Donald Trump that “my husband loves you very much and he knows you do too.” “Your friendship is wonderful. You have supported him so much and he has supported you so much,” Erika said.

Erika thanked the state and federal law enforcement agencies for their tireless work in apprehending the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder and bringing him to justice. Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old college student, was arrested on September 12, about 33 hours after the crime.

President Trump called Charlie Kirk “a legend” and announced that he would posthumously award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. Vice President Vance also praised the activist’s “ability to organize and rally.”
