Full House‘s Andrea Barber says Bob Saget’s potty mouth would get him in trouble with ‘our moms’
The late sitcom dad was known for his off-color humor outside of ‘Full House.’

Bob Saget’s “foul” mouth often had the parents of Full House‘s child actors saying, “Cut it out!”
How Rude, Tanneritos! hosts Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber recently held a live show with Full House co-stars John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, which they highlighted on the most recent episode of their podcast.
During the show, the cast members discussed the wedding episodes for Uncle Jesse (Stamos) and Aunt Becky (Loughlin). They also shared some behind-the-scenes stories about the late Saget, who played patriarch Danny Tanner on the series.
“What’s the most foul thing Bob said ever that got him the most in trouble?” Stamos asked his co-stars.
Sweetin immediately said that she couldn’t repeat Saget’s jokes, while Barber recalled the parents on set scolding the TV dad.
“Our moms would be up in the bleachers in the audience on non-audience nights,” Barber said. “So, it was just the moms and a few stand-ins. But they would stand up and they’d be like, ‘Bob!’”

While Saget was known for his family-friendly on-screen persona, he was also famous for his R-rated sense of humor as well. The late comedian died in his hotel room while on tour in 2022.
Stamos shared with the How Rude, Tanneritos! hosts that he often pays tribute to Saget when playing “Forever” live with the Beach Boys. The 1971 song is a significant tune in the Full House universe, with Uncle Jesse playing it numerous times throughout the series including during his wedding with Aunt Becky.
Now, it holds a deeper meaning for Stamos.
“I talk about Bob a little bit, just about telling people that you love them, that you care about them, because tomorrow’s never promised,” he said. “And we learned that with Bob, unfortunately, and it was such a fast thing. So I sort of talk about that, and then we show this video and there’s a lot of Bob in it. It’s really beautiful.”
