Taylor Swift shows her true colors after Travis Kelce voices Donald Trump support

Taylor Swift is not angered by Travis Kelce’s words on Donald Trump this week, it has been reported.

President Trump is set to attend the Super Bowl in one of his first public appearances since being inaugurated last month, and on Friday made a statement naming Kelce one of the greatest tight ends of all-time.

Prior to that statement, Kelce was asked about the potential of seeing Trump at the Super Bowl and what he thinks of him attending the game, stating: “That’s awesome. It’s a great honor. I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there – it’s the best country in the world – and that’s pretty cool.”

Swift has strong views against Trump, previously accusing him of ‘stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism’, while being a fierce supporter of Kamala Harris. Meanwhile, Trump stated that he ‘hates’ Taylor this past year, while vice-president JD Vance brandished her a ‘childless cat lady’.

But despite Kelce’s words on Trump, Swift is not said to be upset with his words at his press conference prior to the Super Bowl this weekend.

A source said to be close to Swift told the Daily Mail : Taylor is not angry at Travis for what he said. Although Travis’s quote was taken as he supports Trump, this is not what Travis said at all. He never actually even said the word Trump. Travis was speaking on behalf of his entire team and all of his fans when he said it is an honor to have the President of the United States at the game and he would have said the same thing regardless of who the president was.

“So no, there is no fight, no argument and no blowout over this. Taylor is just so proud of Travis and cannot wait to be there to support him. Cheering him on has become so exciting for her. Taylor is Travis’s biggest cheerleader.”

Swift will be in attendance at the game in New Orleans this weekend, where Kelce hopes to become a part of the first team in NFL history
