Guests complain about Jeff Bezos’ wedding

Many guests complained about the grueling schedule at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice last weekend, which left them exhausted.

“The photos don’t do justice to how tired the guests were,” a source told the Mail on July 2. The source said the hot summer weather and constant travel between locations made it difficult for guests. “The heat was part of it, but the boat ride in Venice took even longer. So many people needed to get to the same location at the same time,” the source added.

Meanwhile, the guest list of 200 A-list celebrities, millionaires, and billionaires also said that Bezos and Sanchez’s three-day wedding had a tight schedule. “Everyone was complaining about being tired on the wedding day, not to mention the party the next day,” the source said.

Bezos and Sanchez’s lavish $50 million wedding began on the evening of June 26 with a reception at the Madonna dell’Orto Church in Cannaregio. Guests and the bride and groom arrived at the venue by water taxi and boat. The next day, the Amazon founder and the former journalist were married at the San Giorgio Maggiore Church, which also required a boat ride.

The day after, the wedding took place at the Arsenale, with a pyjama-themed reception featuring Usher and DJ Cassidy. Guests were again taken to the venue by water taxi from various hotels.

According to the media, the list of celebrities attending billionaire Jeff Bezos’ three-day wedding included Mick Jagger, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, Jerry Seinfeld, Orlando Bloom, Jessica Alba, Bill Gates, Brooks Nader, Ivanka Trump and her husband… In addition, Ms. Kris Jenner and her four daughters – Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian were also present.

According to Page Six , Kris was the one who suggested Lauren invite Khloé, Kendall and Kylie because the Amazon billionaire’s wife barely knew Kris’s three daughters. “Originally, only Kim and Kris were invited. But when she attended Lauren’s bachelorette party in Paris, Kris asked the bride if she could have the other three attend as well.”

Sanchez and Bezos have been dating since 2019. Soon after, Bezos split from his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott, and Sanchez ended her relationship with Hollywood producer Patrick Whitesell. After more than four years of dating, they got engaged in May 2023 on Bezos’ $500 million superyacht.
