Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his wife’s surprising marriage update months after Coldplay kiss cam fiasco

Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his wife, Megan Kerrigan, are still going strong months after his Coldplay kiss cam scandal.

Photos obtained by Daily Mail Tuesday showed the couple going for a walk and enjoying a sunset picnic on the beach.

The parents — who share two sons together — were seen wearing sweaters and sitting in lounge chairs while dining on snacks and sodas.

They were later pictured both happily sporting their wedding bands, walking hand-in-hand down the street on a morning stroll.

The news comes months after Megan took a break from social media after removing her married name from her accounts, and reportedly fled their marital home in Massachusetts to hide out at their Maine property.

Byron and Cabot first made headlines in July after they were spotted closely canoodling at a Coldplay concert in Boston together.

At the time, the pair were thought to be engaging in an affair after they were caught on the venue’s jumbotron screen during the band’s kiss cam segment.

Video from the show shared online showed Byron with his arms wrapped around Cabot in an intimate embrace before they ducked away from the camera’s view.

“Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy,” frontman Chris Martin joked of the incident, which quickly turned into a viral moment online the following day.

Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Cabot and Byron were both married to other people. As we previously reported, Cabot was still married to her second husband, Andrew Cabot, whom she later filed for divorce from in August.

Andrew previously claimed in September that he and Kristin — whom he shared a Rye, New Hampshire, address with — were already separated at the time of the scandal.

“Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,” the spokesperson said. “Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”

Both Byron and Cabot have since resigned from their respective posts at Astronomer in light of the incident. However, a source close to the former HR exec claimed she and Byron were just friends when they attended the show together.

“Kristin and Andy had an excellent working relationship, a great friendship. There was no affair,” the source claimed to People last Tuesday.

“It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it,” the insider went on, “but the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job — all of that is unfair.”
