Westlife Confirms 2026 Farewell Tour: “One Last Ride”
The legends of Pop are hitting the road one final time! Westlife has officially unveiled their 2026 farewell tour, marking the end of an electrifying 27-year journey that changed music forever.
Fans can expect a powerhouse send-off packed with their biggest anthems, raw emotion, and the untamed energy that made them icons.
The full list of cities and dates is out now — this is your last chance to witness the boyband from Ireland light up the stage for their ultimate, history-making tour.
The boys celebrate their quarter century with a run of arena shows across Europe
Irish pop behemoths Westlife have announced the UK and European leg of Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, a full-scale celebration of a life spent harmonising their way through heartbreak, key changes and chart history. The tour kicks off in September 2026, fresh off the back of two sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall next week – with extra shows already added in Dublin and Belfast.
It’s the group’s first continental headline run in 20 years – with dates in France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland – and as if that wasn’t enough, Westlife have also dropped a new single, ‘Chariot’. Written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds, with long-time collaborator Steve Mac producing, it’s a glossy, bouncy ode to love and family, and it already sounds arena-ready.
‘Chariot’ will appear on 25 – The Ultimate Collection, due out 13 February 2026. The album – a kind of sonic scrapbook of their career – gathers 21 fan favourites like ‘You Raise Me Up’, ‘Uptown Girl’ and ‘Flying Without Wings’, alongside fresh material recorded by Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark. Physical formats abound: CDs, LPs, an Amazon-exclusive picture disc, even a cassette for the diehards who still own a Walkman.
In a joint statement, the band sounded as misty-eyed as the fans likely will be: “This year marks 25 years since we started this incredible journey together and it still feels like only the beginning. The support from our fans has been unbelievable, and to celebrate with this world tour, new music, and a brand-new album feels truly special. We can’t wait to see you all on the road and share this next chapter together.”
It’s hard to argue with the stats. Over 25 years, Westlife have built one of pop’s most enduring empires – over 3 billion streams, 36 No.1 albums worldwide, 14 UK chart-toppers (beaten only by Elvis and The Beatles), 55 million records sold, 1 billion YouTube views and more than 6 million concert tickets. Their Wild Dreams tour alone shifted 1.2 million tickets, and since reforming in 2019 they’ve clocked over 200 shows across 30 countries.
