Barcelona manager Hansi Flick insists that players are convinced of getting back to their best and have full trust in the coaching staff’s ideas despite back-to-back losses against Atletico Madrid and Girona.
“It’s the staff’s job, it’s our responsibility. The team is convinced of what we’re doing and the way we’ve been winning titles and matches,” said Flick.
“They’re all 100% convinced. It’s normal to lose sometimes; everyone wants to win, and sometimes you have to accept things and improve.
“After two defeats, showing that we haven’t played at our best, I think it’s been very good to have two days off. The players seem fresher. We’re playing at home, we have to get the three points and gain confidence. When you lose, some doubts can arise. We have to play as a team. Everyone is convinced of what they have to do.”
