A stunning mural of Diogo Jota has been unveiled on the side of the Halfway House pub in Liverpool, honoring the late Portuguese forward.

Local artist and Liverpool supporter John Culshaw painted the tribute, which shows Jota smiling and making his signature heart-shaped goal celebration.

Jota tragically passed away earlier this month in a car accident in Spain alongside his brother, Andre Silva.

Fans paid tribute to the beloved striker during Liverpool’’ pre-season match against Preston, where his chant echoed throughout the stadium.

Culshaw explained that the artwork aimed to reflect Jota’s emotional bond with the fans, not just his football achievements.

Tributes from around the football world continue to pour in as Liverpool and its supporters mourn one of their heroes.
