The victim who was hit by a microphone from Cardi B has filed a complaint with the police.
The famous rapper Cardi B is known for her outspoken personality and is not afraid of confrontation. However, she sometimes acts and speaks too aggressively. At an event in Las Vegas on July 29, the female rapper was splashed with water by a fan. Cardi B immediately angrily threw the microphone towards the audience, but the microphone did not hit the person who threw the water, but fell on the woman next to her. This person decided to file a complaint with the police, accusing Cardi B of assault and causing injury.
While the incident was still unresolved, the microphone Cardi B threw at the audience was auctioned off to raise money for two charities. The company that owned the microphone said it was still working properly, and they wanted to turn the microphone’s notoriety into a positive impact on society.

Full scene of Cardi B throwing a microphone at the audience
The company committed that this was the microphone Cardi B used during the performance, identified by the white tape under the mic’s tail. The starting price for this microphone was 500 USD (about 11.8 million VND) but it has now been auctioned up to 50,000 USD (about 1.18 billion VND). Similar new microphones cost about 1000 USD (about 23.7 million VND). The auction is expected to end on August 8.
Cardi B’s actions were criticized by many audiences as being uncontrolled and violent. After a few seconds of calming down, the female rapper continued to perform on stage while the audience member who threw water was asked to leave the event. On StationHead, Cardi B asked the audience to put themselves in her shoes and see how they would react. The female rapper said the water splashed on her face caused pain so she took action to fight back.

This microphone was auctioned for up to 50,000 USD (about 1.18 billion VND).

The auction company guarantees that this is the microphone used in the performance, marked with a white ribbon.
