Film star Henry Cavill swapped the red carpet for the fields of Bray over the weekend as he enjoyed a music festival.
The Superman actor (32) left the cape at home and may have been hoping to go unrecognised, dressed in a casual shirt and jeans.
But the heart-throb failed to fade into the crowd and happily posed for pictures with fans at the Groove Festival at Kilruddery House.
The British star is no stranger to Irish shores, having previously spent time in Bray and in Dublin City while filming popular historical drama The Tudors. The show, which also starred homegrown star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, was filmed in Ardmore Studios in the Co Wicklow town as well as in historical locations in the capital, including Christ Church Cathedral, the Phoenix Park and Kilmainham Gaol.

He previously admitted he had a soft spot for Ireland after spending so much time here.
“I don’t know when I’ll be back but I’d love to spend some more time in Ireland,” he told Entertainment.ie.
“It’s a very special place.”
With his British charm and rugged good looks, Cavill has been tipped to take over from Daniel Craig as iconic secret agent James Bond, a role he would be more than happy to take on.

“Of course I would be [interested in playing James Bond]. Given the right script and the right director, I think it would be an amazing opportunity and something I would really enjoy,” he said.
The Jersey actor has also been cast in the lead role of CIA agent Napoleon Solo in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Tom Cruise was originally linked with the role but dropped out to film Mission Impossible 5.

Highlander FIRST LOOK: Henry Cavill returns to set as he joins a blood soaked Dave Bautista for action scenes at Westminster Abbey after his calf injury brought the reboot to a halt
Cavill has insisted he isn’t feeling the pressure of filling in for such a big movie star.
“I don’t think it’s right to say I’m filling the Tom Cruise role. The characters are so different now,” Henry told Empire magazine.
“It’s not that I was replacing Tom Cruise – it’s that the dynamic of the story changed and I happened to fit that better.”
