Their joint tour kicks off May 16 in Little Rock and concludes a week later in Lincoln. You can see the complete schedule below.

Both of the Illinois-born acts have already lined up large solo tours for the early part of the new year. Cheap Trick already has 21 dates lined up for the first four months of 2026 – see below – in support of their well-received 2025 album All Washed Up.

 

Styx, who also released a new album (Circling From Above) in 2025, have 26 2026 dates lined up prior to their dates with Cheap Trick. They have also already announced a large summer co-headlining tour with Chicago.

Rock reunions are creating some of the biggest headlines for 2026 – but there are lots of other huge shows on the way.

AC/DC circles back to North America with a 17-date tour that gets underway in July and continues through September. This will be the second time Angus Young, Brian Johnson and company have visited on their Power Up tour. Dates kicked off back in May 2024. AC/DC is also playing three shows in South America.

Alice Cooper is set to play six U.S. dates and Florida’s Welcome to Rockville before heading to Europe for more than a dozen shows. He’ll arrive amid the huge European music festival season in June and July, and Cooper plans to take full advantage of the opportunity with a string of appearances.

Co-founder Geoff Downes leads a rebooted lineup of Asia into 2026, with a U.K. date at Ross-on-Wye, England, then a February tour of Japan. Meanwhile, one of Downes’ former bandmates still tours as Asia Featuring John Payne. They haven’t yet confirmed new dates after a busy 2025 that included a lineup change.

Retirement wasn’t for the B-52’s. They’re playing the U.S. and the U.K. in 2026, beginning in April with a run of shows in Las Vegas. Even though the B-52’s called it quits in both 2019 and 2022, their recent Cosmic De-Evolution Tour with Devo also continues with June shows in the U.K. There’s still talk of a new album, as well.

The Beach Boys will play a string of summer U.K. shows with more U.S. concerts scheduled both before and afterward. Their most recent album remains 2012’s That’s Why God Made the Radio, a long-awaited reunion with Brian Wilson. He died in mid-2025 after his family filed for a conservatorship amid a battle with dementia.

So far, Blue Oyster Cult has only scheduled a handful of concerts for next year. Early confirmed North American tour dates include stops in Mississippi, Colorado, Wisconsin, Ontario and Arizona. All of these shows are in January and February, save for the Wisconsin appearance. Blue Oyster Cult will play Eau Claire’s Summer Jam in late June with Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.

Chicago hits two big milestones in 2026. Confirmed dates into the summer extend a streak of touring every year since the group was founded in the late ’60s. Chicago’s nine-show run in February at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas also marks the longest-running residency in the venue’s history. They’ll pair up with Styx later in the year, as well.

There’s also a return trip to Planet Hollywood booked for later in March.

Megadeth will begin a lengthy farewell tour this February in Canada, appearing with fellow thrash giants Anthrax and Exodus. Dave Mustaine has also confirmed the January release of Megadeth’s self-titled final album, which will feature a cover of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning.” (Mustaine cowrote the song during his brief tenure in the band.)

Metallica’s blockbuster M72 world tour in support of their most recent album, 72 Seasons, will continue with European dates in 2026 featuring some big opening acts. The next leg kicks off in May at Athens, Greece, and ends in July. They haven’t played some of these cities in decades. Special guests include Pantera, Gojira and Avatar.

Phish’s first confirmed dates for 2026 include a return to the Sphere in Las Vegas. They’ll play nine shows between April and May. Stalwart bassist Rudy Sarzo and Quiet Riot’s 2026 dates include a slot on the ’80s Cruise in February from Port Canaveral, Florida; and the Monsters of Rock Cruise in April from Miami. They’ll also play Maryland’s M3 Rockfest in May, with other headlining North American shows in North Carolina, Indiana, Ontario, Minnesota and Nevada.

REO Speedwagon played their final show in December 2024, following disagreements between Cronin and bassist Bruce Hall. Then a group of band alumni, including Hall, put on a reunion concert without Cronin – while he appeared with other touring members of the group as the Kevin Cronin Band.

Rick Springfield has confirmed a string of early-2026 shows, beginning in March. The bulk of initially planned concerts were to take place in April, with stops throughout the year in Dallas; Charleston, South Carolina; and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, among others. Ringo Starr heads back out in May with longtime collaborator Steve Lukather and the rest of the All Starr Band. Their most recent dates included a well-received residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas, following Starr’s return to the rootsy style of 1970’s Beaucoups of Blues on the new album Look Up.

The Fifty Something tour kicks off in June 2026 in Los Angeles but Rush continued to add dates and venues as the shows quickly sold out, initially extending this tour well into December.

The Scorpions already have a big summer festival date booked, following a string of mostly European shows. An appearance at Estonia’s Tallinn Rock Festival follows concerts in Belgium, Hungary and Finland. The Scorpions didn’t initially have a date set in their native Germany, but they planned to make multiple stops in France and Poland.

38 Special has set a dozen initial 2026 concert dates in support of their just-released album Milestone. They’ll play multiple shows in Illinois, Georgia and South Dakota, with additional concerts in Florida, Louisiana and Texas, among others. 38 Special’s final 2026 appearance so far is in June at New Jersey’s Rock Ribs and Ridges Festival.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will play a series of concerts this spring, with most taking place in the U.S. Formed in 1978 by singer and guitarist Campbell, the British reggae band’s current lineup has been together since 2008.
