This place is about having a kickass time, leaving your lonelies at the door, and finding a friend inside,” Post Malone shared in a statement.

Post Malone welcomed fans to his new Nashville bar, Posty’s Bar, with a massive grand opening celebration that drew over 30,000 people and shut down Broadway for a concert featuring surprise guests like Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley, and Brooks & Dunn, plus free food and drinks all night, courtesy of Post Malone.

The 30-year-old genre-bending superstar, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, kicked off the festivities alongside Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, Metro Police Chief John Drake, District Councilman Jacob Kupin and Director of Nightlife Benton McDonough to officially welcome friends and fans into the bar with a ribbon cutting ceremony outside the bar’s 3rd Ave entrance.

“Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. I hope that everyone is having a kick ass motherf**king night, and I just wanted to say this is a new chapter for me completely, and I’m so honored that everyone came out,” Post Malone said from the red carpet before cutting the ribbon. “Get some drinks later. Like I said on Instagram, drinks are on me tonight, the whole entire night. Food is on me tonight. Whatever you want in the entire world, please come in and just hang out for a little bit and I really appreciate you coming out, and I hope everyone is having a great f**king night. I love you very, very much.”

He later added, “Posty’s represents a new era for me and how I connect with my fans. This place is about having a kick-ass time, leaving your lonelies at the door, and finding a friend inside.”

After cutting the silver Posty’s Bar-branded ribbon, Post Malone took a few moments to greet the crowd of fans flooding 3rd Ave, all hoping to catch a glimpse of the F-1 Trillion singer. He made sure to acknowledge the thousands of fans that showed up for the grand opening of Posty’s Bar by taking selfies, signing autographs, and shaking hands.

Friends, family, industry guests and fans were then invited inside the 26,000-square-foot establishment to enjoy free food and drinks ahead of the 8PM concert. Produced by Tristar Production Group, the show took place at the corner of Third Avenue and Broadway in the heart of Music City, on a temporary stage built specifically for this occasion, which was reportedly the largest stage ever approved to be placed on the famed street.

In true Broadway fashion, Post Malone packed out Lower Broadway with over 30,000 fans from all over the world for a pop-up performance full of classic country covers such as “I Never Lie” by Zach Top, “That’s My Story” by Collin Raye, “Amarillo Sky” by Jason Aldean, “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” by Billy Currington, “Ticks” by Brad Paisley and more.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks for coming out tonight. This is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful street and there are so many memories that I made here…” he also shared during the show, referencing Broadway, where his new bar is located. “Tennessee, how the f**k are we feeling tonight? My name is Austin Richard Post, and as of today I opened up a bar right there, and I figured the best way, spending a lot of time in this city and on this beautiful fucking street. Watching all the fucking badass musicians and singers and vocalists in this town… And at any bar you can walk in Nashville, Tennessee, you’ll find the most talented motherf***ers in the world. And I figured, let’s kick this motherf***er off with a cover set of some of my favorite f*ing songs. And thank you to Nashville for letting me shut down Broadway a little bit!”

Post Malone also shocked the massive audience with surprise duets alongside Dierks Bentley for “What Was I Thinkin’” and Lainey Wilson for their buzzed-about collaboration, “Nosedive.” He ended his set with the highest-selling country music duo of all time, Brooks & Dunn, who joined him for duets of their signature hits “Neon Moon” and “Brand New Man,” and a tribute to the late Toby Keith with a performance of “How Do You Like Me Now?!.”

“I just wanted to say I love you more than I could ever say, and have a great f**king night. Stay out of trouble. Thank you for letting me open my bar here, thank you for having us in the beautiful city and have a great f**king night. Thank you very, very much,” Post Malone said graciously before exiting the stage and making his way to the rooftop of Posty’s as a grand finale-worthy fireworks display lit up the Nashville sky.

Post Malone didn’t just deliver an incredible free concert, he also picked up the entire bar tab on the night of October 8. Everyone lucky enough to get into Posty’s Bar before it hit capacity following the concert on Broadway enjoyed free food and drinks all evening, courtesy of the “Circles” singer himself.

Once inside Posty’s Bar, guests were also treated to live music from Bobby McClendon as well as live Karaoke in the basement of the bar.

Fans also got to pose for photos with Post Malone’s wax figure, courtesy of Madame Tussauds, which will remain on display in the bar until October 19. Post Malone first “met” his Madame Tussauds wax figure backstage at Governor’s Ball in New York, following his headlining set. Originally unveiled in Las Vegas in 2024, the wax replica of Post Malone sports the Tom Ford outfit he wore during his 2022 Saturday Night Live debut, an ensemble he personally donated. Additional details include Chrome Hearts jewelry and Post’s signature red cup filled with beer. The lifelike figure took nine months to craft by a team of 20 artists.

Located at 305 Broadway and situated next to Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar and Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, Posty’s Bar is owned and operated in partnership with TC Restaurant Group, the same premier hospitality company behind Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up and more.

“It’s not every day that you get to work with an artist as dynamic, versatile, and genuine as Post, and we wanted the grand opening to match that experience. We felt the best way to do that is to include Nashville,” TC Restaurant Group Vice President of Operations Grant Burlingame said. “Our team is honored to rise to the occasion and officially welcome Posty’s – a venue we’re so proud of – to Music City.”

Posty’s Bar, which officially opened its doors on July 2, took over the former Tequila Cowboy and Wannabe’s Karaoke Bar. The whopping 26,000 square feet includes six bars, three live music stages, a full-service dining room, and a rooftop hangout.

The main floor of Posty’s is the largest first floor footprint on Lower Broadway and features three full bars, a VIP lounge, a stage for live music, and a massive gift shop. Posty’s also features an entrance to the main floor on Third Ave that includes a quick counter-service dining, while its lower-level artist lounge offers karaoke and privacy. The rooftop of Posty’s features a bar and live music stage, as well as a patio area that offers stunning videos of the Batman building and all of Lower Broadway.

Posty’s food menu has something for everyone, with a full-service dining room serving hearty sandwiches, fresh salads, and Southern favorites like BBQ ribs and cowboy ribeyes. For late-night cravings, the Roadside entrance off Third Ave offers a dine-in counter with quick bites like Hot Chicken Sandwiches, grilled cheese, and other handheld snacks.

The new Post Malone Nashville bar comes on the heels of the 30-year-old’s recent triumph in the country music world. His debut country album F-1 Trillion soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The genre-bending artist also headlined Coachella this spring and recently wrapped up his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll. He is also working on his second country album, which will be a more traditional country-leaning album. Post Malone recently revealed that he already has 35 songs completed for the project.
