Singer and rapper Desiigner has been arrested by police in connection with allegations of domestic violence, just three years after his controversial airplane incident.

According to VietNamNet, on March 26, PEOPLE reported that singer and rapper Desiigner was arrested on March 23 in South Carolina on charges of third-degree domestic violence. According to court records, the singer was detained that day and released on bail the following day after posting $1,500.

The incident is believed to have occurred on March 2. According to police reports, the accuser is Desiigner’s ex-girlfriend. She stated that the singer returned home angry, shouting, and throwing his car keys, leading to a heated argument.

As the woman was leaving the airport to retrieve her luggage, the singer snatched her keys, tearing her pants, and a scuffle ensued. Reports indicate Desiigner then placed their child in a car seat.

When the woman tried to intervene, she was pushed to the ground in front of her house, resulting in minor scrapes on her hands and back. She got up and took her child out of the car. By the time police arrived, the singer had left the scene.

Previously, Desiigner was involved in a scandal in 2023 when he was convicted of indecent conduct on a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis. According to the indictment, he was repeatedly found exposing his genitals and behaving inappropriately despite warnings. Following the incident, he was sentenced to 120 hours of community service, fined $5,000, and placed on probation for two years.
