Louder Than Life taps one of the world’s most popular heavy metal bands for 2026

Louder Than Life has tapped one of the world’s most popular heavy metal bands for 2026.

Iron Maiden has been announced as the second headliner for next year’s festival at Louisville’s expo center.

The band from east London has been around since the 1970s.

They’re touring worldwide next year, and on Thursday, they announced their North American dates — which include Louisville on Sept. 17. So, they’ll be Thursday’s headliner.

“We are greatly looking forward to bringing this Run For Your Lives Tour to North America and hope the fans enjoy seeing the show and hearing the set list as much as we do playing it,” the band said of their tour on their website.

So what can you expect from their set?

LTL posted on Facebook: “Expect the classics. Expect the deep cuts. Expect a setlist forged in the fire of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) and full of the colossal hits you know and love.”

The other headliner already announced is My Chemical Romance.
