A petition calling for Arne Slot to be sacked has exploded in popularity among Liverpool supporters, reaching over one million signatures in less than 24 hours.
Titled “Arne Slot Out”, the petition urges fans to “make your voice heard” and states: “If you believe change is needed — sign this petition.”
At the time of writing, it is rapidly approaching a million signatures, with over 931,660 the current total. However, checks a few hours later showed it had already surpassed a million.
It reflects deep frustration after a hugely disappointing season for the defending Premier League champions.
Liverpool currently sit on just 59 points after 36 games, well off the pace and with embarrassing cup exits despite record summer spending.
