Barcelona’s 18-year-old football prodigy Lamine Yamal has reportedly broken up with Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole, 25, after 67 days of dating.

This information was confirmed by journalist and TV host Javi Hoyos after speaking directly with Yamal.

“Yamal told me that he and Nicole had broken up. It has nothing to do with rumors of an affair,” Spanish newspaper Marca quoted Hoyos as saying.

The breakup rumors started when Nicole suddenly deleted all photos with Yamal on Instagram, causing fans to suspect that their relationship was in trouble.

According to Hoyos, the two had ended their relationship a few days ago, and Nicole just simply wiped out traces of the relationship after breaking up. He also said that Yamal wants to keep his love life private and avoid rumors.

Photographer Jordi Martin also received a direct response from Nicole. The rapper said she and Yamal were no longer together a few days ago, after she left Barcelona, Marca reported.

Reports of romance between Yamal and Nicole started surfacing this summer, but were only confirmed when the Barca star posted a photo to wish her a happy birthday on Aug. 25. They were considered the new power couple of football and showbiz, but eventually ended their relationship after just over two months.

The reason is said to be due to their busy schedules and different living environments. While Yamal is focusing on his career at Barca and the Spain national team, Nicole is constantly traveling between Europe and South America for shows and music projects.

Yamal’s personal life has been in the spotlight since his rise to a world-class footballer over the past year. He made his relationship with Alex Padilla public at the Euro 2024 title celebration at Olympia Stadium. But they quickly split after Padilla was spotted sitting on the lap of another guy during a livestream.

He was later spotted hanging out with social media star Anna Gegnoso, 19, vacationing with flight attendant and influencer Fati Vazquez, 29, and allegedly trying to link up with former adult film star Claudia Bavel, who is 12 years older than him.

Nicole, whose real name is Nicole Denise Cucco, was born in Rosario, Argentina. She is one of the most prominent young voices in Latin trap and urban music in the past decade, having been nominated for a Latin Grammy and appearing in many major music festivals.

Nicole had a previous relationship with Trueno, another famous rapper in Argentina. The two went public in 2020 but broke up after about two years. Since then, she has kept her love life private until meeting Yamal.
