It’s official: KPop Demon Hunters rules.

After making waves as Netflix’s most-watched animated film, it has added another golden milestone to a growing list of accomplishments.

The global hit, produced in partnership with Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. The Machines), is now the most popular Netflix film of all time, with more than 236 million views to date.

This comes after fans from around the world flocked to theaters for a special sing-along version of the film, pushing it all the way to the top of the weekend box office in North America on Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 24.

The limited theatrical event, KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along, featured more than 1,300 sold-out screenings in theaters across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. It’s now streaming on Netflix.

Plus, the soundtrack continues to slay the Billboard charts. KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) is the first soundtrack with four simultaneous Top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, it ranks No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart for the week of Aug. 23 and has scored more than 3 billion global streams to date.

KPop Demon Hunters is directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and features a script by Danya Jimenez, Hannah McMechan, Kang, and Appelhans. The voice ensemble includes Arden Cho, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Ahn Hyo-seop, Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Byung Hun Lee.

The film features original songs performed by EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga; with TEDDY, 24, IDO, DOMINSUK, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, and Ian Eisendrath among the soundtrack’s producers.
