In the post-match tunnel video posted by Equipe de France, the big centre-back stopped to give a big, warm hug to an elderly woman working as stadium staff.

The wholesome clip shows Konate being his usual friendly self as Les Bleus celebrated the important World Cup warm-up win in the USA.
Most players walked through the tunnel high-fiving and chanting, but Konate’s genuine hug to the older steward stood out and quickly went viral among fans.
