Jermaine Defoe has donated £70,000 to the Bradley Lowery Foundation to support the development of a holiday home for sick children. The Bradley Lowery Foundation is building Super Brad’s Pad, a holiday home based in Scarborough, the town where the Lowery family spent their last holiday with Bradley, from County Durham.

Super Brad’s Pad is aimed at providing respite and for children with life-limiting conditions, and also enabling them to create special memories with their families. The Foundation says that Jermain Defoe’s “significant” donation gets it a step closer to making its vision a reality.

Jermain Defoe said: “I am honoured to contribute to the Bradley Lowery Foundation and to continue supporting Bradley’s legacy. The Foundation does incredible work, and I hope that Super Brad’s Pad will bring joy and comfort to families during difficult times.”
