Comedian Colin Jost candidly shared his feelings about the moment his wife, Scarlett Johansson, shared a viral kiss on the red carpet with her co-star Jonathan Bailey.
Colin Jost jokingly said that he and Jonathan Bailey should probably “close the circle” with a kiss. “Jonathan and I, on the red carpet at the Jurassic World Rebirth premiere, said to each other: ‘Maybe we should kiss now?’ That’s how it was, right?” Colin Jost shared with Entertainment Tonight on July 10th.

He also humorously quipped: “If it’s like ‘Jurassic Park,’ the attack always comes from the unexpected Raptor. Of all the threats out there, I never expected it to be Jonathan.”

However, Colin Jost gently reassured himself that Jonathan Bailey – an openly gay man – wasn’t the biggest threat to his marriage with Scarlett Johansson. Even so, the 43-year-old actor was serious at times, commenting: “People really overreact to someone kissing their friends.”
Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey were first spotted kissing each other on the lips at a London premiere in June. The following week, the pair repeated this affectionate gesture in New York, right in front of Colin Jost.

When asked about these attention-grabbing moments in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jonathan Bailey defended the way he expresses affection to his friends: “I believe in the ability to express love in many different ways. If you can’t kiss your friends, then life is too short not to do it.”
Although he is not currently publicly in a relationship, Jonathan Bailey revealed in an interview with Evening Standard in 2023 that he was dating a wonderful man.
