Hillary Clinton marked her 50th wedding anniversary to former President Bill Clinton by posting a series of throwback photos on social media.

And commenters immediately suggested that a young Clinton looked strikingly similar to pop star Sabrina Carpenter and actor Sydney Sweeney.

“Sydney Sweeney biopic when,” wrote one social media user on X, formerly Twitter. “Starting a conversation none of you want to have…,” another captioned a side-by-side image of Clinton and Sweeney.

“That’s literally Sabrina,” said a third. “Sabrina needs to play her in the biopic,” added another. “Holy shit Sabrina Carpenter,” argued another commenter.

Carpenter’s politics align more closely with those of the former first lady, the former secretary of state, and the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate.

Sweeney, on the other hand, is a registered Republican voter whose ad campaign for American Eagle sparked backlash earlier this year and gained the approval of President Donald Trump.

Social media users have clocked Clinton’s resemblance to Carpenter before, dating back to 2016. The comparison to Sweeney is ewer and prompted some incredulity from Trump’s MAGA base.
