Danica Patrick is not happy with the NFL over the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. Over the weekend, the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music announced that Bad Bunny would perform the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, California.

Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick didn’t hide her true feelings about the NFL’s halftime performer for Super Bowl LX.

The NFL announced this week that Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX halftime show at Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026. The Puerto Rican artist promises to show everyone “our music, our culture” while on stage in Santa Clara, California.

Although it’s not much of a surprise, the NFL is very confident that Bad Bunny will deliver an epic halftime performance.

“Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage,” said Jon Baker, the SVP of Global Event Production for the NFL. “We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment.”

Danica Patrick isn’t thrilled about the pick.

Hours after the NFL announced that Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show, Patrick aired out her complaints on social media.

“Oh fun,” Patrick sarcastically wrote on X. “No songs in English should not be allowed at one of America’s highest rated television events of the year… not just for sports.”

Patrick has received a lot of backlash for her remarks about Bad Bunny.

Earlier this year, Kendrick Lamar made history with his Super Bowl LIX performance. According to Roc Nation, 133.5 million viewers tuned in for his halftime show. It’s certainly possible Bad Bunny breaks that record.

“His music has not only broken records but has elevated Latin music to the center of pop culture, and we are thrilled to once again partner with the NFL and Roc Nation to deliver this historic performance to millions of fans worldwide,” said Oliver Schusser, the vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We know this show will be unforgettable.”

We can’t wait to find out who’ll join Bad Bunny on stage at Levi’s Stadium.
