Chrissy Teigen will now be able to freely indulge in all the culinary delights of Christmas, as her chipped tooth was fixed in time for the holiday.
The 40-year-old wife of John Legend revealed over the weekend that she broke a piece off one of her front teeth while trying to unwrap a candy cane with her mouth.
She was engaged in an arts and crafts activity with her children – Luna, nine, Miles, seven, and Esti and Wren, both two – in which they stuck candy canes into flowerpots filled with crumbled Oreos to make them look like plants.
Shortly after suffering the mishap, she posted an Instagram video of herself at the dentist’s office having the issue addressed.
By Christmas Eve, one of her Insta Stories indirectly revealed that the tooth had been reconstructed and she could masticate to her heart’s content.
Teigen’s post was about how well she expected to do on the New York Times spelling bee, but it included a selfie in which she treated the camera to an open-mouthed smile that showed her teeth restored to their former glory.

Chrissy Teigen will now be able to freely indulge in all the culinary delights of Yuletide, as her chipped tooth was fixed in time for the holiday, as seen in this Christmas Eve Insta Story
She first posted about her injury on Sunday in an Instagram upload she self-deprecatingly captioned: ‘Merry chrithmath from our family to yours!!!!!!!’
Teigen posted multiple selfies of her chipped tooth, including one under which she confessed she ‘had to go to a school recital like this.’
After her dental repair, the cookbook author and her family made a glamorous public appearance on Christmas Day, joining a fleet of stars sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden to catch a game between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For her latest outing, Teigen flashed her shapely legs in a high-cut outfit and wrapped herself in a white coat that featured a showgirl chic feather trim.
Among the celebrity audience members were NFL heartthrob Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara, who appeared in bright spirits for the Yuletide game.
While Wilson was dressed in an understated black outfit, Ciara made a splash in a set of gleaming leather overalls certain to attract attention.
Another attendee was Fat Joe, who was seen leaning forward with his hands folded, intently watching the action unfolding on the court.
Teigen is currently navigating a return to the spotlight after her 2021 cyberbullying scandal, in which she was accused of having told the then-teenage Courtney Stodden over private message to kill herself.

The controversy caused Teigen’s A-list position in Hollywood to go up in flames, and she has since described herself as being a member of what she called ‘cancel club.’
Her gradual comeback included an appearance this year on Meghan Markle’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan, where they discussed the fact that they both were models on Deal or No Deal early in their respective careers.
The series was hit with blowback for having Teigen on, but Stodden, now 31, insisted on social media that ‘I do not believe people should be bullying Chrissy. Have we learned anything? Two wrongs do not make a right.’
However she also claimed that when the furor over With Love, Meghan erupted, she sent Teigen a supportive message only to be ‘completely ignored.’
