Chris Brown and Usher are hitting the road for a joint tour.
The Grammy-winning singers unveiled the news Friday on Instagram in a collaborative post. “ITS TIME! #R&BTOUR #Raymond&Brown,” the caption read, with the second hashtag referring to a combination of Usher’s surname, Raymond, and Brown.
The pair also shared an announcement video showing them riding motorcycles at night, weaving through traffic and being chased by screaming fans before linking up in a parking garage. They enter an elevator that takes them to a packed stadium. “It’s time,” Usher says, as Brown replies: “Hell yeah.”
Further details about the tour are yet to be released.
The tour announcement comes just hours after Brown shared the release of his new single, “Obvious,” taken from his forthcoming studio album, Brown, out May 8.
Brown, 36, has consistently toured each year since his 2022 co-headlining engagement with rapper and singer Lil Baby. In 2023, he traveled on his “Under the Influence” tour, followed by his “11:11” tour in 2024 and his “Breezy Bowl XX” anniversary tour last year. The latter celebrated the 20th anniversary of his self-titled debut album, Chris Brown.
The controversial R&B singer is known for bringing fans on stage and dancing suggestively with them.
He also previously came under fire after it emerged that he was charging fans thousands of dollars for a meet-and-greet on his 2024 tour.
The “With You” singer similarly faced backlash in 2022 for the costly meet-and-greets, which he later defended, writing on Instagram at the time: “PSA!!! WHEN ARTIST (EVERYONE) DO CONCERTS, they all have something called a VIP PACKAGE. I HAVEN’T DONE MEET AND GREETS IN OVER 7 YEARS…

“I HAVE THE COOLEST FANS ON THE PLANET .. I APPRECIATE THE F*** OUTTA THEM. THESE ARE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST WITH THEM FOREVER,” Brown added.

Meanwhile, Usher, 47, concluded his nearly year-long “Past Present Future” tour last May. The tour was in support of his ninth studio album, Coming Home.
Last month, the “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” artist made headlines for coming to the defense of disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“In many ways, I think certain people are prosecuted and maybe not recognized for the greatness that they offer,” Usher said in an interview with Forbes. “I don’t have anything negative to say about Sean Combs because my experience was not what the world has seen and how he’s been misrepresented.”
Acknowledging that his opinion “might be controversial,” he added: “I’m not saying that every man is perfect. I’m not saying that all of us don’t have flaws.
“But I can’t, with any sense of humanity, not recognize the valuable contributions that this man made for us as Black entrepreneurs, for us as businessmen, for us as people who have transitioned culture and ideas into something that’s tangible and becomes business. So many people benefited from what he created. And I acknowledge that. And that’s why I see him as legacy.”
