According to a report by FandomWire, speculation began after an Instagram post suggested Cranston may be involved in the revival series. Many believe he could portray the long-teased serial killer introduced in the show’s first season.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 introduced audiences to the “New York Ripper,” a serial killer connected to over 20 murders but never shown on screen. The character, known only as Don Framt, is expected to play a significant role in the upcoming season. Given Cranston’s critically acclaimed performance as Walter White in Breaking Bad, fans are convinced he would be a strong fit for the role of the mysterious antagonist.
