BREAKING: Governor Tim Walz hilariously trolls MAGA Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt over her boss’s humiliating escalator scandal at the United Nations yesterday — says that it’s a “miracle” that Trump even managed to get up the stairs.

“If someone at the UN intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately,” Leavitt tweeted.

The outburst was prompted by an incident in which an escalator froze while Trump and Melania were ascending on their way to his address to the U.N. General Assembly. They were forced to walk the rest of the way up.

“Not only do they need to be fired, they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It’s a miracle the President ever made it up the stairs,” Walz tweeted in response to Leavitt, taking a clear potshot at Trump’s deteriorated physical state.

The incident took up a lot of news oxygen yesterday, in large part because Trump repeatedly whined about the escalator during his speech.

“All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that on the way up stopped right in the middle. If the First Lady wasn’t in great shape, she would have fallen,” Trump said.

“These are the two things I got from the United Nations: a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter,” Trump complained at another point. “Thank you very much.”

Eventually, it was revealed that Trump’s staffers themselves were responsible for the escalator woes. According to The Daily Beast, “someone familiar with the situation” revealed that it was actually “someone in the president’s own entourage” who “accidentally tripped the emergency stop.”

Here you have MAGA in a nutshell. Create a problem, then blame someone else.
