Bon Jovi To Embark On New Tour In 2026, Their First In Four Years

Bon Jovi fans got some good news on Wednesday (October 22), when the band unveiled their plans for a new tour in 2026. This will be their first time touring since lead vocalist Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery in 2022.

Called the Forever Tour, the limited-date trek is set to start next summer. The band will perform a series of shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 7, 9, 12, and 14.

Then, they’ll travel overseas to perform in Edinburgh, Scotland on August 28, followed by a performance in Dublin, Ireland, on August 30. The tour will end on September 4 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

“There’s a lot of joy in this announcement,” Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement shared on the band’s website. “Joy that we can share these nights together again — I’m grateful to the fans and to the band for giving me the time to get healthy. I’m ready and excited.”

Fans can sign up on Bon Jovi’s website to get access to presale tickets. U.S. presale starts on October 27, while presale for the UK and Ireland begins on October 28. General onsale starts on October 31.

Jon Bon Jovi Had Vocal Cord Surgery In 2022, And He Reached Out To Shania Twain Before He Did

In 2022, the idea of touring ever again seemed like an impossibility for Jon Bon Jovi.

The “You Give Love a Bad Name” singer started noticing issues with his voice in 2015. As he shared in his 2024 docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, he realized by 2022 that something was seriously wrong.

Jon found himself at a crossroads. He could either undergo surgery to try to repair some of the damage to his vocal cords…or retire. He chose the former option.

As he prepared for his vocal fold medialization procedure, Jon reached out to country singer Shania Twain. She had undergone the same operation several years prior, with the same surgeon Jon was scheduled to see.

Jon called Shania his “spirit sister” in this phase of his life, saying, “Not only did she reassure me that it would be OK, but I think she also pulled my leg a little bit because she told me I’d be out there a lot sooner than I have been. She says, ‘Well, I told you that because I knew that you might back out otherwise.’ And so, I couldn’t wait to get the operation.”

Both Shania and Jon have since returned to performing. Shania has been on tour and released two new albums. Jon (and Bon Jovi) released a new record, Forever, in 2024.

On October 24, Bon Jovi will release a “Legendary Edition” of Forever. The new edition includes reimagined version’s of the album’s tracks, featuring some of music’s biggest stars.

Country music gets some representation on the record, with Jelly Roll contributing his vocals to a remake of “Living Proof.” Lainey Wilson joined the band to make over “I Wrote You as a Song,” and The War & Treaty lent their vocals to “The People’s House.”
