Bitter NFL Fans Have Officially Launched a Petition to Replace Bad Bunny for Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show, and it’s Gaining Steam
Some NFL fans are pushing to “boycott” the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show this year because Bad Bunny was selected as the performer.

Bunny was announced as the performer at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium, marking a massive milestone for the representation of Latin music. That is huge for the people who love him, but a major deterrent for others who do not care for him.
Bunny, who is coming off a month-long residency in Puerto Rico, will lead the halftime festivities from Levi’s Stadium on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, California.
It won’t happen if thousands of fans can get their way.
A major petition has been launched to replace him. “Replace bad bunny in the Superbowl halftime show” has over 5,500 signatures as of this writing.
It reads as follows:
“I want to be clear, I do not condone any racism or hateful behavior connected to this petition. I have no issue with Bad Bunny as an artist, he is talented and successful. My concern is simply about the Super Bowl halftime show needing an act with broader appeal across genres and audiences rather than leaning into one lane that may not connect with the majority of viewers,” it reads.
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the most iconic events in entertainment, drawing millions of viewers from all around the globe. For decades, it has been a platform to celebrate music that unites people, offering a shared experience that brings together fans from different backgrounds, tastes, and cultures. The first episode of Season 51 of Saturday Night Live wasted no time when it came to the biggest story of the last week. The episode was hosted by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny.
His appearance on SNL appeared shortly after being revealed as the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show performer.
Bunny addressed the concerns of fans in a monologue conducted partly in Spanish. When it concluded, he added in English: “If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”
Conservative pundits have slammed the NFL’s choice of the Puerto Rican superstar, but the award winning artist will be on center stage whether his critics like him or not.
