Billie Eilish is calling out Elon Musk as he’s set to become the world’s first trillionaire.

In a series of Instagram Stories shared on Thursday, Nov. 13, Eilish, 23, referred to Musk, 54, as a “f—ing pathetic p—- bitch coward.”

The statement came after she re-shared an Instagram carousel originally posted by My Voice, My Choice. The first photo on the carousel featured an image of Musk, 54, and text that read “Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire here’s what he could do with it.”

The ensuing slides suggested a series of ways that Musk could assist vulnerable populations globally. One slide claimed that the Tesla founder could “end world hunger” and “choose to spend $40 billion every year to end world hunger by 2030 or provide universal safe clean water $140 billion for the planet for the next seven years.”

The following slide read that Musk could “save endangered species” by paying between $1 and $2 billion annually to bring 10,433 Critically Endangered species down to Endangered status.

The final suggestion read, “At just $53.2 billion, Musk could rebuild Gaza and the occupied West Bank according to the EU. Although the UN predicts this could be upwards of $70 billion for Gaza alone. If he wanted to spread the wealth, and aid further, he could also rebuild Ukraine and Syria at a cost of $793.2 billion.”

Eilish’s statements come after Tesla shareholders approved a pay package that would make Musk the world’s first trillionaire. On Oct. 6, 75% of Tesla shareholders voted to approve a compensation plan worth upwards of $1 trillion for the SpaceX founder, according to CNBC and Business Insider.

Musk will not automatically be paid, as the package will require that he meet a number of business goals. He will be required to boost Tesla’s market cap to $8.5 trillion by 2035, sell 12 million vehicles a year, and deploy 1 million robotaxis and 1 million humanoid robots, Business Insider reported.

The current billionaire would also need to remain Tesla CEO for seven and a half years to earn any shares from the new pay package, according to the pay agreement. He will still be allowed to hold his role as CEO at his other companies, including SpaceX and his artificial intelligence startup, xAI, according to NBC News.

Musk’s wealth has continued to appreciate during a moment in which he is embroiled in political scandal.  The soon to be trillionaire has found himself in controversies involving his political stances and his work leading the Department of Government Efficiency for President Donald Trump’s administration. Earlier in 2025, protestors gathered outside Tesla showrooms to speak out against his federal government budget cuts and right-wing political stances.

Musk is not the first wealthy tech name that Eilish has called out. On Oct. 29, the “Birds of a Feather” singer accepted the Music Innovator Award at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards and called out billionaires in her acceptance speech — with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the audience.
