Beyoncé has set a new record by becoming the first artist in history to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for 28 years straight. This milestone was officially confirmed in 2025 after her name reappeared on the chart through the song No by Summer Walker, which samples Beyoncé’s 2003 track Yes and credits her as a songwriter. The entry gives Beyoncé an unbroken run of chart appearances from 1997 through 2025…

Thanks to the #69 arrival of Summer Walker‘s ‘Finally Over It‘ song ‘No‘ on this week’s Hot 100, Beyonce – whose 2003 song ‘Yes‘ serves as the tune’s sampled track – made history yet again by becoming the first artist ever to chart on Billboard for 28 consecutive years as a songwriter.

Bey first appeared on Billboard charts in 1997 as a member of Destiny’s Child, as well as a songwriter of some of the group’s biggest hits.

She later began her solo reign in 2003 with the release of ‘Crazy in Love’ and her debut solo album ‘Dangerously in Love’, which opened at #1 on the Billboard 200. The album’s lead single dominated the Hot 100 for eight weeks, marking the beginning of a legendary run.

To date, Beyoncé has earned nine #1 singles and 24 Top 10 hits, according to Billboard.

With Beyoncé teasing a “race car era” on social media along with hints of Act III, it’s clear she has no plans of slowing down on the Billboard charts or anywhere else.
