The pair sparked dating rumors after they were spotted enjoying a lengthy lunch in New York City in January. According to TMZ, the two spent more than two hours at the restaurant, appearing relaxed and joyful as they laughed and chatted outside before parting ways. It also noted that Vergara, 52, was so engaged in conversation that she barely touched her food.

However, the rumored relationship seems to have cooled. RadarOnline reported that the 40-year-old F1 racer and the “Modern Family” star have now gone their separate ways. While Vergara reportedly considered Hamilton her “perfect boyfriend material,” sources say the seven-time world champion was not as invested, leaving Vergara feeling sidelined.

“They’re still talking and texting on occasion but it’s one-sided,” a source told RadarOnline. Vergara is the one making the effort, hoping for more while getting little in return.”

Hamilton is no stranger to high-profile romances. He famously dated Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls for several years before breaking up in 2016.
