FBI interrogates ‘transgender partner’ of Charlie Kirk murder suspect
US media reported that the FBI questioned the “transgender partner” of Tyler Robinson, 22 years old, suspect in the assassination of activist Charlie Kirk.
Tyler Robinson was in a “romantic relationship” with a transgender man who lived in an apartment in St. George, Utah, senior FBI officials told Fox News .
The man was said to have been “very cooperative” with investigators and “completely unaware” of Robinson’s plans, so he has not been charged with any crime in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
In public records reviewed by the New York Post , Robinson was known to Lance Twiggs, 22, who lived at the same address. A relative confirmed Twiggs was Robinson’s roommate but declined to comment on their relationship.

The FBI is now sifting through “a wealth of evidence,” including communications between Robinson and Twiggs as well as “every connection, every group, and anyone involved” in the shooting.
Investigators said the couple’s Discord conversations provided crucial clues, including a reference to a rifle wrapped in a towel and hidden near Utah Valley University, where Kirk was shot and killed on September 10.
Police seized a Mauser 30 rifle and ammunition engraved with several messages.
Axios , citing six sources, reported that investigators are looking into whether Robinson’s motive was fueled by anger over Kirk’s criticism of the “LGBTQ agenda” and transgender procedures.
A source said the roommate was “horrified” by the incident and immediately turned over text messages with Robinson to authorities.
The FBI has not publicly confirmed the suspect’s motive.
Minutes before Mr. Kirk was shot, an audience member asked him: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have committed mass shootings in the last 10 years?” – “Too many,” the activist replied.
Next, Mr. Kirk was asked: “Do you know how many mass shootings there have been in the US in the last 10 years?” – “Is there gang violence?” – he replied right before being shot.
