Amanda Balionis says she is “looking forward” to another season covering the NFL after being named to the CBS Sports lineup for the 2025 campaign.
The much-loved reporter will be back on the sidelines for her ninth season this coming fall, having spent the majority of the year as a regular on the network’s PGA Tour coverage.
Just as she was 12 months ago, Balionis is now looking forward to a change of scenery as the 2025 PGA Tour draws to a close, and she’ll be hoping for much of the same success as last season ahead of her inevitable return to golf in the New Year. It comes as Bryson DeChambeau told Tiger Woods exactly what he thinks of him.
On Thursday, CBS Sports officially announced its broadcasting lineup for the 2025 NFL season, with Balionis one of 24 stars set to appear on TV screens for the network over the coming months.
Alongside Tiffany Blackmon, she will be a ‘reporter for select games’, which will provide her with a more relaxed schedule but also plenty of opportunity to get stuck in, nonetheless.
Shortly after the news broke, Balionis took to social media to reveal her delight at her upcoming role, posting on her Instagram Story: “Looking forward to another season with @nfloncbs!”

The 39-year-old proved to be a hit with NFL fans last year as she covered some of the biggest and best moments from the regular season, such as her emotional pre-game interview with Cleveland Browns quarterback Jameis Winston.
Balionis wasn’t present for the post-season play-offs as they clashed with the start of the 2025 PGA Tour, but things still went remarkably well for her, having further established herself as one of the more prominent figures in sports reporting during her stint.
By the time it was time for her to sign off from her NFL duties, she offered a heartfelt post on social media, posting a photo of her laptop set against the backdrop of an NFL game on a TV from a hotel room.
“That’s a wrap on the regular season!” Balionis wrote. “This job is always the dream, but it’s the people I have the privilege of working around and learning from that makes it so fun and special.

“We had some incredible games, laughed more than most and had the honor of being a tiny piece of telling the incredible stories of the season. Time for a couple weeks off and then back to @golfoncbs we go!”
Now, Balionis is gearing up for her ninth season covering the NFL for CBS, and it could certainly be her best one yet. With so many storylines and plenty of action to come, there is plenty of hype heading into the new campaign.
Given her prestigious role for CBS Sports on the PGA Tour, viewers can expect some compelling coverage from the much-loved reporter, along with hard-hitting interviews with some of the biggest stars in the game.
